Umigo participated in the annual Danville Fourth of July Parade!  We are pleased to be a part of this tradition for 2 years running!  Happy Birthday Danville (150 years) and its Parade (50 years)!   

 

 

Our Monday through Wednesday track days needed some spice, so eat up:

 

Our Monday League is underway, but we are looking to develop a youth league.  Call us @ 925-373-7223 if you are interested or want to get your name in. 

 

Tri Tip Tuesdays-  If you work near Umigo or can come by around Noon, give us a call ahead of time and reserve a free lunch of a Trip Tip sandwich and Chips with a Hot Laps purchase.  Just call us at 925-373-7223 to reserve your space and show up ready to race!  This promotion is already underway and occurs weekly.

 

Free Tuesday Night Driving Clinics-  Given its size and complexity, the Umigo track has its challenges.  How do you get to a 39 second lap time????  Bill Frock, our resident track champion, is willing to pass on some of his ideas and tactics.  Hint:   It is not just about driving line like many other tracks.  Bill will spend sometime in our discussing how to focus on drive line as well as momentum management, braking & throttle control and more.  Thereafter, he will be offering lead-and-follow race sessions to anyone interested on some private coaching.  So far, his early efforts with some of our guests have netted dramatic improvement in kart track times and control.  Times will be announced soon as the schedule is being worked out on this.  Look for a commencement on this clinic by July 8th.

 

Wildcard Wednesday- On Wednesday morning, our staff will pull 1 of 10 track variations (and growing!) out of a hat.  Whatever track layout is picked will be configured right away and that is what we will run all day.  Yes, we can run at least 10 track variations including our permanent layout.  Curious to what they are?  You will just have to come by and see!  Track variation has already commenced! 

 

Wednesday night adult league #2 is forming.  Call us @ 925-373-RACE (7223) to get your name in.  We are looking for 10-12 more participants to get this started.  Oh and yes, each week will present a different track to the league.  Drivers with skills wanted!
